Find myself at this place with coworkers each time I visit San Francisco. Awesome atmosphere 5 stars all the way. If you enjoy karaoke, drinks and want to throw in some sushi from next door this is a must visit spot. You won't regret it!!!

Best Karaoke bar I have been to. The mic and volume was on point, the drinks were good, and the crowd was hilarious.

KARAOKE Bar. Great intimate place to have a private function or a group get together. CASH ONLY bar. But youcan bring outside food. Great selection of songs. Was here for private event, so catering provided. #makeitmariko #tacolicious #rockos taco icecream. Friendly and accommodating staff

Best public-stage karaoke in SF hands-down! Came here on a Wednesday night around 8, took about an hour to actually get on stage, but the wait was totally worth it. If you sing a popular, upbeat song and show some energy, the crowd really gets into it! (I'm a terrible singer FWIW.) Drinks were strong too but it's cash only FYI. Overall an A+ experience and I will definitely be back.

This spot was cool. It wasn't too crowded and me and my friends went to chill there. We didn't plan on singing or anything but ended up deciding towards the end of the night that we were down. They let us sneak our song in at the end and we're very nice. My friend also lost his phone and they shut the whole place down to help us look for it. Overall had a great time!

The Mint is a weekday favorite of mine (and a weekend favorite). Like all the best restaurants and dive bars in SF, it's cash-only. The crowd is usually a good mix of regulars & tourists, and the vibe is always fun. Sing along, dance, cry, cheer, and enjoy your moment in the spotlight. I recommend that you put a song into the list as soon as you get in, then when it's your turn to sing, drop your next song slip on the way up to the stage. Remember to always tip your DJ!

Came here with a group of friends around 12 am and had an awesome time! I will say that it’s tough to get a spot on the list to sing cause the queue fills up very quickly but it’s a great community feeling with everybody singing along and having drinks together. Speaking of drinks, each mixed drink we got was only 7 bucks which is super affordable but WARNING: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH so make sure you have cash. If you don’t there’s an ATM there but it charges a service fee. Anyway, great staff - one of the bartenders gave me a whole water bottle for free. Had a great time and hope to go back soon!

the Mint is the best. I've been singing terribly here for around 15 years. A few of my favorite faces are no longer there but it's still a good time!

Bartender truly was super adorable and genuinely kind. I don't know how she gets through the singing but people were enjoying themselves and I though it was awesome how folks performances were televised on TV above bar. It gets packed!

Ah The Mint! This is an epic karaoke bar with great drinks, friendly people and great service. Try the pineapple cider they have on tap while you enjoy a fine mix up of music, dance and conversation. Do note this is a cash only establishment so hit the ATM before you drop in. I would highly recommend this establishment to a good friend. Big five stars!

Great karaoke bar with a single main stage. Energetic and fun crowd! If you sign up to sing, though, pay attention to the order; the DJ runs a tight ship! Also, note, this place is cash-only (but there is an ATM on site).

A very fun, supportive environment! I don't recommend ordering a Moscow mule there, but the Long island iced tea was all right. You can order sushi from next door, and you can sing your heart out and get cheered on!

Very small cool little spot right in The Mission District. It delivers a very soft taste of San Francisco in a very easy going and welcoming atmosphere. The Bar screams "BE YOURSELF" With a colorful song selection for Karaoke and down to earth, welcoming bar staff. I ordered a Old Fashion that came up perfect, and Bar regular gave me a hug and bought me a drink simply out of kindness. No matter if you are a resident here in SF or just visiting, The Mint offers you a break from a city that can seem, intense, over crowded and maybe even a little pretentious.
If you get the opportunity, grab the coolest, fun people you like to hang around, grab a seat at the bar, and bathe in good company in a humble atmosphere.

YES YES YES. Mint. YES. I love Mint. This place is absolutely wonderful. The song selection is massive, the crowd is always supportive and the karaokers are always enthusiastic. Given, the drinks are pricey and there is a 2 drink minimum. The KJ can get grumpy if the crowd is being disrespectful. The bartenders are all familiar with the regulars and are extremely cool. If you are serious about singing, be sure to put in a song as soon as you get there because the wait can be long. Other than that, unleash your inner superstar and head on over to Mint. NOW!!!!!!If you get the opportunity, grab the coolest, fun people you like to hang around, grab a seat at the bar, and bathe in good company in a humble atmosphere.

This place gets busy and the KJs are just trying to let everyone get a chance to sing, so follow the rules. Yes, there are gonna be plenty of amazing voices here, but don't be intimidated as most people in the audience aren't regulars. If you're not sure what to sing, the crowd always loves show tunes.

Best karaoke spot in SF!

I cannot stop singing praises for The Mint! (I may be out of tune but no one really cares!)
First things first, it is cash only so stop by the ATM before you get there. They do have an ATM inside, but just in case it isn't working, and to avoid unnecessary fees.
I've been here a couple times and I have to say that once you get past the tight ship that the KJ drives it really is a great spot for open room karaoke! I called and reserved a spot for my birthday and we had a prime location at the back bar! The drinks are reasonably priced and the song selection is great! Don't let the books fool you! They have plenty of tracks not listed, just politely ask the KJ about them. Also note that there are some songs he will only let one person karaoke a night! I think that's awesome because I don't want to continually hear "Don't Stop Believing" or "Bohemian Rhapsody" multiple times in a night. Get there early or go during the week to be able to sing more songs.
Side note: If you're hungry the sushi place next door will serve you food!

By far my favorite Karaoke spot in the Bay! Try to visit every time I make it to SF! Servers are super friendly and the place has a cool vibe with a great mix of people. Can’t wait to come back !!!

There are a ton of really good singers who come, so singing is a little intimidating. But it's fun, super divey and a great place to come with a group. All you can eat sushi next door, and they also can bring orders over to the Mint.
