SF Karaoke FAQ to insure a great mint karaoke Lounge Experience!
Welcome to The Mint SF Karaoke FAQ, where we aim to create an enjoyable karaoke experience for everyone. To ensure harmony and respect, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our rules and etiquette.
Karaoke Rules:
1. Solo Performances:
We kindly request that you limit yourself to one solo song request at a time. After your first solo, feel free to submit another request.
2. Duets and Groups:
In addition to your solo performance, you may also request one duet or group song. Please include the names of all participants on the song slip; fictional group names are discouraged.
3. Song Requests:
It's important to use your real name when requesting songs. Attempts to use different names to request additional songs will not be permitted.
4. Stage Etiquette:
For safety and to maintain the quality of performances, we do not allow drinks on the stage. Let the stage remain a dry and safe space for singing.
5. Supporting Our Business:
As a business, we kindly ask for a minimum of two drinks per person in your group, whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Your support helps us thrive.
Karaoke Etiquette:
1. Respectful Conversations:
Please keep conversations away from the stage when performers are singing. Just as you wouldn't want distractions, let's extend the same courtesy to others.
2. Enjoy the Show:
While we understand the excitement to sing, please show support for fellow performers by listening attentively and applauding their efforts.
3. Invitations to Perform:
Resist the urge to join someone on stage without an invitation. Respect their time in the spotlight, as failure to do so may result in removal.
4. No Negative Feedback:
We do not tolerate booing or negative feedback. Maintaining a positive atmosphere is essential for everyone's enjoyment.
5. Showing Appreciation:
Our bartenders and KJ (Karaoke Jockey) work diligently to provide you with a great experience. While tipping is not mandatory, it's greatly appreciated and helps support their livelihoods. Bartenders work for their own tips and the KJ works for their own tips, both are separate services.Thank you for your understanding and consideration! 🙂

To Sing please fill out a form slip completely (little baskets with slips and pens are scattered throughout the bar and tables) and hand it to KJ or drop it into the noted plastic container on the KJ booth. The KJ will then put you in rotation. No drinks or liquids of any kind are allowed on stage, please be respectful to the microphone when you are signing. Also, note any of your friends or backup singers on your slip.

If requesting a reservation within 48 hours please call the bar directly.
- We are cash only (ATM inside). Security deposit is required for parties over 25 people.

- Latest reservation is 8:30 pm & we will hold seats until 9:00 pm.
- We have no private rooms, it’s like a nightclub setting in which you will share with others.
Singing is free but 2 drinks minimum purchase is required.
The Mint is a bar and all partygoers MUST be 21 & over and provide a valid ID.
We are a cash-only bar, although we do accept credit card payment only if it’s a prearranged company and large group parties with charges over $150.00.

The Mint is a full-service bar with a large selection of domestic and imported beers, both bottled and on tap. We have a mix of cocktails, beers, and top-shelf selections. Everything from PBR, Hefeweizen, IPA’s to Don Julio, Macallan 12 years, Glenfiddich 15 years, and much more. We also carry a variety of non-alcoholic drinks. We do not charge a cover, but we do enforce a 2-drink minimum policy. Much better than a cover and no drink!
We are attached to Sushi Delight and have an access door inside the bar. You can order at the sushi restaurant (we have menus in the bar) then they will deliver them inside the bar to you. Just let them know the section you are seating at. Visit Sushi Delight website here
You can also bring in your own food or receive delivery for reservations but please note this in the message section of the reservation form.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday: 5 pm – Late night
Friday & Saturday: 4 pm – 1:45 am
Tuesday: Available for private events only
If requested we can start at earlier hours on any day.
